Symmetry Practice
SymmetryVA + PracticeHI - an Avidity Health Care Solutions, Inc. platform
Your practice, end to end.
From claims to concierge.
Symmetry Practice runs the operations around a practice end to end - intake, scheduling, records, and follow-up handled by seasoned operations people as part of your team. Underneath sits PracticeHI, the Azure-native practice platform from Avidity Health Care Solutions, Inc., grown out of thirty years of payor-side claim operations and now pointed at the practice itself, concierge and direct-pay care included. Service comes first; the platform exists to support it. Use Symmetry's FHIR-compliant EMR, or integrate the one you already have - either way, Symmetry connects the systems around it and applies AI thoughtfully, where and when it earns its place, never as a bolt-on.
Book a Discovery CallFrom the payor side to the patient side
Avidity Health Care Solutions, Inc. is an operations firm before it is a technology company: thirty years of mailroom and claim operations, data processing, SOP and protocol development, and process reengineering for health plans and managed care organizations - with X12 claim transaction processing among the disciplines mastered along the way. Their method has always been the same: reengineer the process first, then leverage technology into process improvement and workflow automation. PracticeHI turns that method around to face the practice, end to end - and extends it to concierge and direct-pay care, where the relationship stands where the claims cycle used to.
Symmetry is the same species of company on the practice's side of the glass: a services and back-office partner - intake handled, phones answered, schedules kept, records routed, digests delivered - with a platform underneath doing the automation. Together they cover a practice end to end: PracticeHI as the clinical and financial system, Symmetry as the back office that runs around it.
Dedicated service comes first - the hub platform exists to support it. Symmetry's hub was built running real back offices.
What the partnership delivers
-
End to end
Insurance-based or self-pay
PracticeHI covers the practice end to end: direct scheduling, streamlined intake, encounter-to-payment in one motion, and self-pay coverage treated as a first-class flow rather than an exception. It is built on claim rails that already work, so a practice can run either model - or both at once, which is what most of them actually do.
-
Your EMR or ours
Use Symmetry's FHIR-compliant EMR, or integrate your existing one
Adopt PracticeHI - Symmetry's FHIR R4-compliant EMR - or keep the system you already run. Practices on IntakeQ and other systems connect as they are, with Symmetry integrating the systems around the EMR and adding the operations layer on top. The choice is yours, and it is never a prerequisite.
-
The front door
From website chat to patient portal, in one bubble
One script tag puts the Symmetry bubble on your website. An assistant answers from material you write and nothing else; your team takes over in the same thread; every conversation lands as a record that someone owns. With PracticeHI connected the bubble becomes the patient portal: account, intake forms, booking, video visits and balances, and it installs on a phone under your practice's name.
-
Thoughtful AI
SOAP notes drafted, video visits built in
Per-section dictation and an ambient scribe, with a consent step, draft the SOAP note; drafts merge through the EMR's own bridge and never overwrite clinician text, and a signed note locks in the database itself. Telehealth is a video visit a patient can start from your website chat, and its recording feeds the SOAP draft. AI reads intake documents and faxes, and stays out of everything it hasn't earned.
-
Discovery calls
Every call worked, transcribed and scored
Your team takes the discovery and intake calls as part of your practice. Voicemails come back automatically from an AI agent that discloses itself on every call and collects intake without ever inventing an appointment. Every call is transcribed and summarized, and Symmetry AI scores each one against your call plan - opening, discovery, offer fit, handling pushback, next step - with a quoted line as evidence and one coaching sentence. Scores flow straight into your KPIs.
-
Real-time KPIs
Numbers by system and function
Every connected system feeds one KPI library, grouped by the function it serves: EHR, scheduling, telecom, CRM, telemarketing, marketing, accounting, documents. A practice gets the metrics for a system the moment it connects, sets targets on the ones that matter, and reads them in the daily digest - revenue, productivity, scheduling, AR, call volume and response time on one page.
-
Marketing boards
A marketing plan with a board under it
The marketing plan is written on pillars and goals, and the content board, month calendar and sales board run it: every post, campaign and lead on a card, advanced by the systems that produce them. An AI report sorts what you published against the plan, and marketing KPIs sit beside the clinical ones.
-
Interoperability
Azure-native, FHIR R4
PracticeHI is built on Azure-native infrastructure with full FHIR R4 interoperability - modern rails for the data a practice will inevitably need to exchange, so the next system is a connection rather than a migration.
-
HIPAA
Compliance on both sides of the glass
Every disclosure is audited twice: PracticeHI logs chart access in its own audit tables before a byte moves, and Symmetry writes its own tamper-evident access trail - who looked, at whose record, from which surface - with per-patient accounting of disclosures.
-
The journey
The whole journey on one board
Lead, intake, scheduling, visit, payment - one pipeline where the EMR's own events advance the cards. Staff see what needs a human; the machine handles what doesn't.
-
Operations
Process discipline, then technology
Behind the platform sits thirty years of claim operations, data processing, SOP and protocol development, and process reengineering (Claimstat MCIS, X12 transaction processing included). A concierge practice that keeps one foot in insurance - or grows back into it - is standing on rails that already exist.
-
Virtual back office
Operations expertise, not just software
Symmetry runs a virtual back office staffed by people who have done this work for years - intake worked, phones and faxes handled, schedules kept, records routed, follow-ups tracked. That expertise is the service; the platform exists to support it. Automation handles what a good back office repeats, and our people handle what a good back office judges.

What a practice pays
A practice pays its platform tier and the AI it uses - nothing else. PracticeHI, the EMR, is inside the tier: no separate EMR fee, no per-practitioner fee, every administrative user included. Use Symmetry’s scribe, which learns your note shape from the notes you sign and the gaps you flag, or connect the scribe you already use. The tier covers your share of the hub’s Azure resources, Symmetry’s platform support and Symmetry’s margin; every AI service - the scribe included - is metered at the published rates under a ceiling you set.
- Symmetry Platform - Pulse A light footprint on the hub: a light share of the pooled database and processing, 2 gb of document storage; platform support by email, within two business days. A single-clinician practice fits here.$39/month
- Symmetry Platform - Insight A working footprint on the hub: a working share of the database and processing - ai reads taken on arrival ahead of the queue - and 20 gb of document storage; platform support by the next business day, and a monthly 30-minute platform check-in. A multi-clinician practice, or one running intake, phones and faxes through the hub at volume.$89/month
- Symmetry Platform - Command A heavy footprint on the hub: a heavy share of the database and processing - capacity reserved for your syncs, reads and digests - and 100 gb of document storage; the hub as a source for your own reporting; platform support the same business day, and a quarterly review of the measurement model. Multi-location and high-volume practices.$179/month
- PracticeHI EMR Symmetry's FHIR R4 EMR - telehealth, structured SOAP documentation, the patient and provider portals in the bubble. Use Symmetry's own AI scribe, on Azure Speech and Foundry for telehealth and in-person visits, or connect the scribe you already use. Symmetry's learns your note shape as you use it: every note you sign and every gap you flag refines your practice's template, and every draft is signed by the clinician. Every practitioner and every administrative user, no per-seat fee.Included in your tier
- Clearinghouse Electronic claim submission runs through a clearinghouse whose fees are passed through at cost.Billed separately
- Model tokens Intake forms, referral faxes and uploaded pages after Symmetry’s own OCR, voicemails and emails read on arrival; the scribe’s visit notes; your team’s questions$5 per million
- Audio transcribed Recorded visits for the scribe, voicemails, calls - a 15-minute visit costs a quarter of a 60-minute one$0.02 per minute
- Minutes on the line The voice agent taking intake and scheduling calls$0.05 per minute
- Text messages sent Appointment reminders and replies from the team$0.03 per message
The Foundation Fix, the Operations Partnership and the Growth Partnership are priced separately. The full rate sheet and the tiers are on the Symmetry Platform page. The Symmetry Platform →
What a month comes to, by practice size
Per practitioner, a month of about 100 visits runs about $165 with the scribe recording every visit and about $41 without it, at the published units. The tier follows the footprint those practitioners put on the hub. Visits per clinician are from a real practice’s appointment history; the AI mix from a live practice on the hub; every figure is a model.
| Practice | Tier | With the scribe | Without the scribe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo practitioner | Pulse - $39 | about $205 | about $80 |
| 1 to 3 practitioners | Insight - $89 | about $585 | about $215 |
| 4 to 9 practitioners | Command - $179 | about $1,330 | about $465 |
| 10 or more practitioners | Command - $179 | about $2,160 | about $670 |
Figures are for three, seven and twelve practitioners respectively. PracticeHI itself: $0. Clearinghouse fees are passed through at cost. A practice billing around $7,000 a month per clinician pays about 3 percent with the scribe on and about 1 percent without it.
